Founding Leaders Circle
The person who will lead your India centre may already be in the room.
Once a company decides to build in India, the next question is who will lead it. Finding that person can take months, and the choice shapes the centre for a decade. The Founding Leaders Circle is a small, private gathering of people who have done it before.
The first head of a new centre is its founder in all but title.
They find the building, hire the first hundred people, set the culture, and earn the trust of a headquarters that has never worked this way. It is a rare skill. The people who have it are seldom looking for a job, and they are not on job sites. They are found among their peers.
Described by what they have built.
Members of the Circle have done one or more of these things.
- Built a capability centre from the ground up
- Scaled a centre from hundreds of people to thousands
- Turned a delivery centre into a product or engineering organisation
- Created a capability the company did not have before
- Established a company’s operations in India
- Run a country, a business unit or a global function from India
Chief executives and former chief executives of centres, country heads, business unit heads, leaders of engineering, transformation and operations, and senior executives considering their next chapter.
How it works.
An expression of interest, in confidence. A leader writes to us privately. Nothing is published.
A conversation. GCC India’s Managing Director speaks with each leader about what they have built and what would interest them next.
The Circle meets. Members gather in private during the Utsav, among peers.
Introductions, by mutual consent. When a company deciding on India and a member of the Circle both wish to meet, we introduce them. Never otherwise.
What we promise.
- No list of members is published, here or anywhere.
- Your interest is seen only by GCC India’s Managing Director.
- We never contact your employer, and we never confirm to anyone that you have written to us.
- An introduction happens only when you have agreed to it.
- You can withdraw at any time, and we will delete what you sent us.
What it is not.
It is not a job fair, a database of résumés or a recruitment service. Nobody is interviewed at the Utsav, and nobody is asked for a CV. It is a room of people who have built something difficult, and a careful way of introducing them to people about to try.
For companies
Who will lead your India centre?
If you are deciding on India, or opening a new site there, tell us what kind of leader you will need. Explorers can raise it with their Navigator. Where a member of the Circle is interested, we will introduce you during the Utsav.
