Welcome, in Gujarati
Bharat welcomes the world.
For three days, India’s Global Capability Centre ecosystem, eight state pavilions and the people who decide where the world’s work goes next meet under one roof.

India is ready
India hosts 2,117 Global Capability Centres. They employ around 2.36 million people and earn US$98.4 billion a year in revenue. An estimated 506 of the Forbes Global 2000 companies run operations here.
The question is no longer why India.
It is where in India, how, and with whom. Those are questions a report cannot answer and three days in the right rooms can.

The Utsav
India doesn’t need another GCC conference. It needs a welcome.
GCC Bharat Utsav is a three-day national gathering for the companies that run Global Capability Centres in India, the companies deciding whether to open one, and the states, leaders and partners who make them work.
It is planned the way a good host plans an evening. You are received at the door, shown the house, introduced to the people you came to meet, and fed well. The business gets done along the way.

Bharat is India’s name for itself. Utsav means celebration. A Global Capability Centre, or GCC, is the technology, engineering, finance or operations hub that a global company owns and runs in another country.
Eight pavilions, one Bharat
Not which state. How India wins the next one.
Eight regions stand on one floor and tell one story. Choose a pavilion to see what it brings.

Under one roof
The people who can shape your next move.
A decision about India usually takes a year of introductions. For three days, the people at the other end of those introductions are in one building. Choose who you are, and see who you will meet.
Choose who you are
- A global headquarters leader
- A company exploring India
- A GCC country head
- A government or policy leader
- A technology leader
- An investor
- A founding leader
- A talent or innovation partner
You will meet
- GCC country heads, who hire at scale and help design courses.
- Companies exploring India, asking where their people will come from.
- Government and policy leaders, with skilling and research programmes to join.
- Technology leaders, looking for research and start-up partners.
Eight pavilions. One India. One ecosystem, in one building.
Your industry
Is India your next GCC destination?
Global centres in India began with software and back-office work. Today they design vehicles, model risk, manage clinical data, verify chips and plan supply chains. Choose your industry.
Retail and consumer goods
The shop is in one country. The pricing engine, the app and the supply plan can be in another.
Retailers and consumer brands use Indian centres to build e-commerce platforms, pricing and forecasting models, supply-chain planning and marketing technology. India’s own consumer market, with its millions of small shops and its fast-growing online trade, is a hard school for anything they build.
What centres do
- E-commerce and store technology
- Pricing, forecasting and merchandising analytics
- Supply-chain planning
- Marketing technology and customer data
- Finance and vendor operations
Regions to explore
- Delhi-NCR, for Gurugram
- Gujarat, for the textile trade of Ahmedabad and Surat
- Karnataka, for Bengaluru’s retail technology centres
- Maharashtra, for Mumbai’s consumer-goods companies
- Tamil Nadu, for Chennai
- Telangana, for Hyderabad
The GCC Explorer Pass
India is not a report. Come and stand in it.
For companies that have not yet built in India. One Navigator, seven steps, and a decision you can defend to your board.

In Indian theatre the sutradhar holds the thread of the story. Yours is called a Navigator.
Your Navigator knows the states, the policies, the talent markets and the people. They are matched to your brief before you fly and stay with you until you have what you need to decide.
Places are limited.
Experience India
The hands that kept the craft are building what comes next.
A weaver ties and dyes each thread so that the pattern exists before the cloth does. An engineer lays out a chip the same way, with every path decided before anything is made. It is one habit of mind, and it belongs to one country.
Craft
A line drawn around dots on a floor
Capability
A trace routed around pins on a board
Both are a path planned around fixed points.

India does not only want you to build here. India wants you to experience India.
At the Utsav you will eat from eight regional kitchens, watch craft made by the people who practise it, hear a different region’s music each evening and, if you wish, wear what your hosts wear.
The three days
Come as a guest. Leave with a decision.
Each day has one job. The first lets you arrive. The second shows you what India can do. The third is for working out what you will do about it.

The programme is proposed. Sessions and speakers are published as they are confirmed.
Founding Leaders Circle
The person who will lead your India centre may already be in the room.
When a company decides to build in India, the next question is who will lead it, and finding that person can take months. The Founding Leaders Circle gathers people who have built and scaled centres before. It is small, it is by invitation, and it is held in confidence.
For GCC leaders in India
You built India’s GCC story. This is its stage.
You have spent years explaining India to your headquarters on video calls. For three days you can show it to them. Bring your global leadership. Walk eight states in an afternoon. Sit with peers who share your problems and with newcomers who want your advice.
Partners
Your brand, inside India’s next GCC chapter.
A partner at the Utsav holds a role, not a place on a wall. You might host the Explorers’ arrival, equip a pavilion, convene the technology leaders or publish the research. The room is one that gathers nowhere else: country heads, their headquarters, companies new to India, state delegations and the leaders who will run the next centres.

Year one
The first edition of something India will do every year.
The aim is plain: to make India the world’s most preferred home for global capability, by letting the world experience it. Each year the welcome will be drawn again, with more of the country in it. The people who come to the first one will have shaped what it becomes.

Your next capability centre could begin with a welcome.
